Philippe adopted Oz, a spirited Chihuahua that sparked a surge of creativity, inspiring the creation of PAOZ, a jewelry collection that blends elegance with a playful spirit.
18k recycled gold finesse set with a lab grown diamond selected by DFLY, better for both humans and the planet, and entirely manufactured in France in the pure jewelry tradition.
Most of the pieces in the PAOZ collection are designed using an 18k gold string (750/000): gold string bracelet, gold string ring, gold string pin. The artistry of this collection lies in its extreme simplicity while providing enough durability for everyday wear.
The gold string blends seamlessly with the skin of the wearer, becoming almost unnoticeable.
The gold used for the PAOZ collection is the same as that of the DFLY collection: it is 18k yellow gold (750/000), the same quality used in French high jewelry. Moreover, it is recycled, which is much better for the planet. Our gold meets the SAAMP label standards and can come from manufacturing scraps, coins, old gold, bulk waste, filings, polishings, sludge, sweepings, crucibles, sawdust, emery, deoxidized metals, silver waste, and platinum group metals.
PHILIPPE AIRAUD
After studying Applied Arts and attending the Royal Society of Arts in Cambridge in the early 1990s, Philippe Airaud began designing jewelry for Yves Saint Laurent.
In 1998, through Philippe Airaud Studio, he started creating jewelry, watch, and accessory collections while collaborating on the identity of jewelry lines for major luxury houses.
Since 2020, he has been working with DFLY Paris as Artistic Director, designing all their jewelry collections.
Additionally, Philippe is regularly invited to lead workshops at schools such as IFM Paris, the Gemology Institute of the China University of Geosciences in Wuhan, Modart, and ISAL.
