Firstly, we exchange on the design you are looking for: for some of you, the project is already very clear and only a fine tuning is necessary. Thickness of the band, shape of the band, height of the setting, claws shape, placing and diameter of the little adornment diamonds if any, gold, platinum, silver metals, all of those are very important and personal details.
If the design is to be further built, thanks to its solid bespoke jewel expertise, DFLY offers a large variety of styles based on previous experiences and new ideas as well; together, the project comes to flourishment to meet your desires. Making them possible is our mantra, while keeping an eye on security.
DFLY offers also an ultimate program called VIP involving the maison designer, Philippe Airaud: this program allows the making of a jewel project starting from scratch. Philippe will seat down with you and propose live some ideas, he will then work further on it and come back with his vision and proposal.
During this phase, the main lab grown diamond is at the heart of the search and DFLY bring s all its expertise in this stone. Shape (Round Brilliant, Cushion, Oval, Princess, Pear, Asscher and many more), carat, color, purity, cut… We also speak about where the stone and how the way the lab grown diamond is produced. As DIAM CONCEPT, French producer, CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) is prioritized because of its lighter carbon footprint. Just as a comparison, approximately 1600 degree Celsius are necessary in the traditional technology HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) versus 700 to 1300 degree Celsius for the CVD.
Then, as a second step, maison DFLY will deliver lab grown diamond proposals from high to excellent quality, with different carat levels if you want. A full estimate of each stone, along with the jewel fabrication is delivered at this stage so you can project yourself.
As soon as the green light on the stone and the estimate are made, the maison works on the computerized drawing done to the exact metrics of your stone to the 100th of millimeter: at this stage, you can request for amendments.
When the lab grown is received, DFLY makes 5 points of control and if everything is good, alerts you so you can have a look for yourself at DFLY showroom. People living outside Paris sometime send a relative to check it out for them.
Then comes manufacturing stage, fully done in France in the pure tradition of French jewelry, lasting for 4 weeks. A personalized engraving is offered.
The finalized jewel is presented in the high end maison box; it is available at the DFLY showroom for pick up or sent overseas outside Paris or in a foreign country with our specialized courier (custom clearance for people living outside the EU is proposed by DFLY).
Our bespoke jewels are guaranteed one year for any manufacturing error, but not in case of a shock: in case of a shock, DFLY does everything possible to thoroughly repair it at the best price.
